1940's LIght Brown Suit with Side Pockets

Gabardine is a wonderful fabric; tough, holds its shape, and always looks fresh. This stylish suit is gabardine, a collar-less style jacket which is nipped in at the waist and lined in silk crepe. The pockets on the jacket are side entrance with cuffs that are notched. Padded shoulders. The condition is good, there is a small pinhole in the back of the jacket and about a 1inch fade mark on the bottom rear of jacket. This suit originated in the forties at Mally's--On the Avenue--Rochester, NY Measurements: shoulder to sshoulder 15 inches bust 37 inches waist 28 hips 38 inches skirt length 27 1/2 inches jacket length 26 inches
