1922 Ruffles and Frills Organdy Wedding Dress with Provenance

The epitome of femininity! Wouldn't Daisy Buchanan look great in this fluffy confection? Organdy, real organdy, is a delightful fabric. Light as air yet voluminous when ironed. This dress has a regatta collar, self sash with beautiful knot and ties, ruffled edges on collar and sleeves, and weighted ruffled panels front and back. Worn originally on Aug. 11, 1922 in Harrisville, RI by Ethel Mae Ballou for her betrothal to Wilson B. Sheldon. Condition is mint. Shoulder to shoulder: 13 inches Waist: 25 inches Bust: 35 inches Hips: 48 inches Length of Dress: 43 inches
