Black Wool Satin Velvet Titanic Coat

Ca. 1910. Rose might have worn this blanket-weight, black wool, high-collared Edwardian coat! Lush details of velvet at the collar and cuffs with satin banding to the large V-shaped lapels. There is some wear above the top button closure on the satin banding. Measurements are: Chest 34 inches. Waist 32 inches. Hips 42 inches. Shoulder to shoulder seam back 13 1/2 inches. 7 1/2 inch sleeve opening. 24 inch sleeve length. 50 inches long shoulder to hem.
